The Jet

The Great American Dirt Track @ Jetmore Motorplex opened on June 23rd, 2001. It soon became the "place to race" due to it's wide open, limited wall setting.

Drivers love to race the "Jet" and 2011 will offer some of the best racing the track has ever seen.

April begins the season with the 2nd Annual Sunflower State Showdown. Come out to see drivers competing in MARS, MLRA, NCRA, CLMA and UMP. Plus with over $40,000 in purse money and $10,000 going to the winner you never which national standouts might show, as well. This will once again be the biggest Dirt Late Model race in the State of Kansas

The Steve King Memorial will once again take place on Memorial Day Weekend. This season the the race will not only be sanctioned by the ASCS, but also the NCRA. If you love open wheel racing this event will deliver.

Thursday August 11th the USMTS will be back to kick off the Hunt for a National Championship. Last year's race saw Kelly Shryock squeak out a narrow victory. The stars of "Dirt Knights" will once again be on hand to duel with the other series regulars and touring standouts. 

Weekly racing actioon sanctioned by IMCA fills up the rest of what promises to be the best racing season ever for the Great American Dirt Track.

Jetmore

Jetmore is a city in Hodgeman County.

It is the county seat.

The community was named for Col. Abraham Buckner Jetmore, railroad attorney

The estimated population, in 2003, was 933.
